Rachel MacAdams, who has shortened her last name to McAdams, made her first big appearance to US audiences in 2002 as Jessica Spencer the self-absorbed high school cheerleader who switches bodies with a middle-age loser played by Rob Schneider in the movie The Hot Chick. While that movie didn't do so well with critics, her next project, Mean Girls (with Lindsay Lohan) did much better as well as The Notebook which came out later that same year, 2004. Rachel has also performed impressively in her more recent films Wedding Crashers (with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn), Red Eye and The Family Stone.
